A flat in shades of petrol green

2024 — Pitkovice — Czech Republic

Formafatal Studio has refashioned a small flat (2 rooms + kitchenette) in Prague’s Pitkovice quarter into a unique dwelling for a young owner. A key role in the design is played by light and materials: mirror surfaces, epoxy compound in grey and petrol green, with ingeniously arranged light sources making the compact space look larger. The kitchen is dominated by an island with a marble worktop and a mirror-like supporting structure.

We furnished the bar at the kitchen island with our Trivi chairs by Czech designer Martin Foret. Thanks to their minimalist design, they naturally fit in with the general concept of the interior, complementing its colours and materials.
