One-room apartment

A one-room flat in Zvolen, Slovakia, underwent complete reconstruction carried out by Mimesis Studio. The key characteristics of its new interior are lightness and cleanliness of its space with a logical arrangement of the flat’s functional areas.

In order to cope with lack of dwelling area, the architects furnished the flat with multi-purpose blocks of built-in furniture. An imaginary borderline between the kitchen and the dwelling part of the room consists of a dining area including a dining table for four, complemented by our Melody Meeting conference chairs.

The flat won first prize in the Public Vote category of the 2021 Interior of the Year Award.
