Our products are now available as BIM objects

Nowadays, modern interior design practically cannot do without digital tools. Architects as well as designers work with 3D models, which help them to think about space in context, verify details and prevent mistakes as early as at the design stage. In order to make this work as easy as possible, we have created BIM models of selected chairs from our portfolio.

What is BIM and what is it used for

BIM (Building Information Modeling) connects a 3D product model with technical and functional information, enabling different professions to work with a single shared data source. So, it is not only about the visual appearance of the product, i.e., in our case, furniture. It is also an intelligent digital object including specific data: dimensions, design details, materials, different versions and technical specifications.

As a result, architects and designers can work with the product at the interior design stage and make sure that the selected solution corresponds to the actual version.

Advantages of BIM objects

Using BIM objects offers many practical advantages. It makes it possible to include a particular chair or armchair directly in the design, work with up-to-date and accurate data and make both the design and approval processes significantly faster. It also helps to prevent mistakes that could otherwise only be detected during implementation, cause technical problems and eventually lead to additional costs.

Our BIM objects are prepared in such a way that they correspond to the actual dimensions and design of individual models, are easy to use in standard design tools and help to present the design to investors and clients clearly.

Our chairs and armchairs as BIM objects

In the first stage, BIM objects for the following series have been created:

The BIM objects of our products can be found on our website – for individual series in “Downloads” – and on the bimobject website, which is one of the most frequently used BIM databases worldwide.

More BIM objects are being created and will be added gradually.

Making work easier from design to implementation

By making the BIM objects available we are responding to current working practices among architects and designers. We want the process of the process of selecting our furniture to be as simple as possible at the earliest project stages so that the digital design can be turned into a high-quality interior without any unnecessary complications.
