This autumn: DesignBlok, ORGATEC and more

In just a few days, from 6 to 11 October, DesignBlok opens its doors at the Trade Fair Palace of the National Gallery Prague, marking the beginning of one of the year's most important events for architecture and design. This year, we'll officially introduce Dafna, our new premium seating collection designed by Lucie Koldova. The collection features expressive upholstered forms, exceptional comfort and the flexibility to shape a wide variety of contemporary interiors.

Presented at this year's DesignBlok, Where seating becomes expression is an installation designed by Seabrook Studio. Inspired by the idea that Dafna is designed to be appreciated from every angle, the installation guides visitors through a sequence of carefully composed views, where every step reveals a different relationship between colour, form and perspective.

Join us on 6 October at 1:30 p.m. for Professional's Day at our DesignBlok exhibition. Together with Lucie Koldova, we'll introduce Dafna, share the story behind the collection and the installation, and invite you to stay for light refreshments and conversation.

The following day, on 7 October from 11:00 to 11:20, Lucie Koldova and Jakub Huráb will take part in the DesignBlok Talks discussion Měkkost je tvrdá disciplína: Ve světle výroby – co není vidět, rozhoduje. (Softness is a tough discipline: Through the lens of manufacturing, what you can't see makes the difference.), offering a behind-the-scenes look at the collaboration between design and manufacturing behind Dafna.

Celebrating 20 years at ORGATEC

From 27 to 30 October, we'll be heading to Koelnmesse in Cologne for ORGATEC, one of the world's leading trade fairs for modern working environments and a key event in the LD Seating calendar. This year is particularly special as it marks 20 years since our first participation, a milestone that reflects two decades of presenting our latest collections, meeting partners from around the world and building new relationships across the industry. You'll find us in Hall 8.1, Stand C011-B010, where we'll showcase the best of the LD Seating portfolio.

Alongside Dafna, you'll have the opportunity to experience Terra Lounge, Nido, Lotus and many other collections, as well as discover our latest upholstery materials and powder coating finishes. Visitors will gain a comprehensive overview of our approach to seating across workplaces, hospitality, residential and public interiors.

You're also invited to join us on 28 October for two special talks with Lucie Koldova and Folco Orlandini, who will share the stories behind Dafna and Terra Lounge and discuss the thinking behind each collection.

Returning to Design Nation Düsseldorf

Following last year's event in Berlin, we'll once again take part in Design Nation, this time at the Schmiedehalle, Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf from 30 to 31 October. The event showcases leading European manufacturers and design brands, giving architects and interior designers the opportunity to discover new collections and explore the latest developments in contemporary furniture and interiors.

You'll find us at Stand 74, where we'll present Dafna alongside other designer collections, including Terra Lounge and more from our portfolio. Whether you're discovering our collections for the first time or returning to see what's new, we're looking forward to seeing you there.

Meet us at Pulse Prague

On 24 November at Rudolfinum, Pulse Prague will return as an important meeting place for architects, designers and manufacturers, creating opportunities to exchange ideas, discover new projects and discuss the future of contemporary interiors. We'll once again be part of the event, with Dafna and other LD Seating collections featured throughout the venue. As you explore the conference, you'll have the chance to experience our seating in use across different spaces and see how the collections can support your own projects. Our team will also be there throughout the day to answer questions, introduce our latest products and discuss potential collaborations.
