Our Flexi Light chair on a four-legged base was given the title of Winner for extraordinary design as part of the German Design Awards.

The German Design Awards belong among the most respected design awards in the world. They are given by the German Design Council, which has been a leading design authority in Germany since 1953. Only products nominated by expert committees can enter this competition. Over 3,800 projects from 57 countries competed for the 2026 award.

The jury appreciated the Flexi Light’s elegant lines, variability, colours and sustainable production: “Impressive is the confident interplay of elegant lines and versatile adaptability. Flexi Light stands out with charismatic color variety, striking design language, and sustainable production. Thoughtful stackability and individual options combine functionality with aesthetic clarity. Especially noteworthy is the responsible use of materials, giving the project a distinctive and future-oriented quality rarely achieved in this category.”

This year, the new CHL-N model was added to the Flexi Light series by Orlandini Design, Italy. Thanks to a wide range of versions as well as stackability, it is perfect for offices, meeting rooms and modern interiors. The chair is made at our facilities in Boskovice, Czech Republic, so we have the quality fully under control and decrease our impact on the environment.

The German Design Award ceremony will be taking place at the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany, in February 2026.
