15. 12. 2025

The year 2025 is approaching its end, so as usual it is time for us to retrospect a little. This year has brought important changes, especially in terms of which products we want to focus on in the future.

There has been an increase in customers’ interest in lounge-type seating furniture while the demand for swivel and conference chairs has decreased. For us, this means a step forward to where we have wanted to be heading for a long time and where we can take full advantage of what we can do best, i.e. foaming, sewing and upholstery. Unlike classic office chairs, this focus allows us to be not only more effective but also more sustainable as we need fewer outsourced components and rely more on our own craftsmanship and know-how. And that is where we see our future.

We have launched a new website, opened a new showroom and received a LEVEL 3 certificate

This year has also been remarkable thanks to several steps that have enabled us to make progress in presenting our company and in the way it works.

In the spring, we launched a new website, which is more clearly arranged, has new features, including a sophisticated configurator and reflects more the needs of our customers and partners.

Another important event was the opening of our London showroom in the prestigious designer area of Clerkenwell. As a result, we have become closer to British architects and partners and strengthened our position on a market that we have always regarded as strategic. Selected products of ours can now also be seen in the shared showroom at the Hotel-Kompetenz-Zentrum in Munich.

We have also made significant progress in the area of sustainability, which is our long-term commitment. We have received a FEMB LEVEL 3 certificate, confirming that we have met strict sustainability standards company-wide: from material selection to production and company processes. The certificate applies to models from our Arcus, Lyra Air and Leaf series.

Because we have purchased and put into operation a new machine producing hard polyurethane at our PUR seating subsidiary, we can now also make soft seating furniture in a more sustainable way – these products are completely recyclable.

We have presented several new products and extended the existing series

The year 2025 has also been rich in new products and in the development of existing series. A new four-legged model has been added to the Flexi Light, which has become more versatile as a result. The Flexi Lounge series now includes a new armchair model distinguished by a minimalist design and maximum comfort. Besides that, new models have been added to the Arcus, Riva and Lotus series.

There are also two completely new series in our range: the Duo stackable conference chairs and the versatile Quadra armchairs and sofas, which are perfect especially for public places.

Receiving awards

Our seating furniture has received two important international awards in 2025. Our Flexi Lounge armchair was given the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2025. Our four-legged Flexi Light chair became Winner at the German Design Award 2026 competition for exceptional product design as well. Both awards confirm the quality of our long-standing collaboration with Orlandini Design and our focus on sophisticated, functional design.

Participating in events in the Czech Republic as well as abroad

We have presented our products at several important events both in our homeland and abroad. In May, we participated in the Clerkenwell Design Week in London, where we presented our new showroom for the first time. In October, you could see us at the Designblok festival in Prague with our floating staircase installation designed by Lexová&Smetana, and we had our premiere at the Design Nation in Berlin

Besides that, we took part in and were one of the main partners of the Zlín Design Week, Living Forum and Pulse in Prague and Ostrava, and attended the conference of the Architects’ Council of Europe supported by the Czech Chamber of Architects.

We have lots of plans for 2026

What are we planning? The year 2026 will be as ambitious for us as the previous one. In February, we will be launching our new armchair series, Terra, created in collaboration with Orlandini Design.

We are also preparing two new types of modular seating furniture and in autumn we will introduce a new series of armchairs and sofas created in collaboration with designer Lucie Koldová.

There will be many different events in 2026. We are planning to be at the Clerkenwell Design Week, Orgatec, Designblok, Living Forum, Pulse, Design Nation Düsseldorf, etc.

In terms of business, we want to develop our position in Germany and gradually enter the Middle East markets, where we can see a great potential for our products.

We would like to thank all our partners, customers and colleagues for a wonderful year. We already look forward to what we will create together in 2026.
